Q: Is there anything I need to bring to Splash?
A: If you are under 18, you need to have your parents sign our general liability waiver and photo release waiver and bring them with you. You may also want to bring a pencil and paper if you want to take notes. Lunch is provided!
Q: How do I get to Splash?
Splash will be held on USC's campus at Kaprielian Hall (KAP). You can get detailed instructions on how to get to KAP here.
Q: I signed up for a class that I no longer want to take. Can I change it?
A: Yes! You can make edits to your schedule up until the morning of the program through the Student Portal. If you want to make changes after that, you can do them in person on the day of the program. You can switch into any class that's still open.
Q: I'm registered to teach for Splash. Is there anything I need to do before I teach?
A: Yes! You need to complete the USC Working with Minors training course. Be sure to check your email frequently for preparation meetings/workshops loading up to Splash. On the day of the program, you must check in at least 30 minutes before your first class.
Q: I've requested teaching materials from Splash. How do I get them?
A: If you have requested print materials or a Mac adapter, you can pick them up at the teacher check-in desk when you check in. If you have requested other materials, check your materials request confirmation email. If we have ordered the materials for you, you can also pick them up at Teacher Check-In. Reimbursement will only be provided to those who submitted their material requests by the Teacher Reimbursement deadline. Contact [email protected] for specific dates and inquiries.
Q: Can I see how many students are signed up to teach my class?
A: Yes! If you check the Teacher Portal, you can see how many students are currently signed up for your class. At the teacher portal, you can also see your exact schedule and class locations.
Q: Is there a place for me to hang out between my class sections?
A: Yes! We have a teacher lounge reserved for the duration of the program. Here, you can come to grab food, study, and hang out with other teachers. Teacher lunch will be served there as well.
